Exercise SURYA KIRAN 2024

A group of 334 Indian Army personnel has departed for Nepal to participate in the 18th Battalion Level Joint Military Exercise, known as SURYA KIRAN. This exercise is slated to place in Saljhandi, Nepal, from December 31, 2024, to January 13, 2025, an annual event that alternates between India and Nepal.

The exercise will focus on flying abilities and environmental conservation as key training areas, and soldiers will participate in activities that will strengthen their fighting skills and coordination, allowing them to function as a team effectively in difficult circumstances.
