Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dispatch e-RUPI, an e-voucher-based advanced installment arrangement, by means of video conferencing. The e-RUPI drive will be one of the projects dispatched over the course of the years to restrict touchpoints between the public authority and the recipient and “guarantee that the advantages arrive at its planned recipients in a designated and airtight way”.
e-RUPI is a credit only and contactless instrument for computerized installments. It goes about as an e-voucher dependent on a QR code or SMS string, which is conveyed to the cell phones of the recipients.

The e-RUPI stage has been created by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on its UPI stage, as a team with the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and National Health Authority.
